Stausee Kelbra

Herzlich Willkommen am Stausee Kelbra, dem mit 6 km² größten See der Region, unmittelbar am Fuße des Kyffhäusergebirges.

Ein vielseitiges Angebot garantiert unvergessliche Tage mit Camping und Freizeitspaß.

Der Stausee bietet sehr gute Wassersportmöglichkeiten, sowie eine Hafenanlage mit Mole, Sommer- und Winterliegeplätzen für Boote und Surfbretter, ideal für Surfer und Segler.

Der Stausee ist ein künstlich angelegtes Rückhaltebecken für Hochwasserschutz. Seine Größe beträgt ca. 600 ha. Das Normalstauvolumen beträgt ca. 12 Mio. m³; die mittlere Wassertiefe ca. 3,45 m; tiefste Stelle ca. 5,50 m.
